Do you know in Japan the day 5th of May is a national holiday to expect healthy growth of children?
This is Koinobori, meaning “Rising Carp” streamer shaped.
This fish is carp. I know it is exported from Japan with very expensive prices sometimes more than 1 million Japanese yen to the World.
Why carp? There seems to be many stories, but one of them is in Kyoto, Carp was or is still considered by a messenger of God rising up the river to a villege where disastered by calamity.
When I was small, my parents has set 3 or 4 carp made by textile with different colours such as black, red, blue or green over the roof of the house. This customs was started 200 or 300 years ago during Edo era by traditional samurai families.
We can see those Koinobori also in Miyagi.
This is Higashi Matsushima, blue carp only or red only.
Toogatta Onsen.
In Taiwan also, Koinobori is rising.
Koinobori can be seen nationwide in Japan during early May.

台灣是一個四季都可以去的地方,
三四月份是天氣涼爽的最佳季節.
2泊３日と短い日程でしたが、
過去のインターンシップ生の出身地でもある台湾の台北に行ってきました。
台湾は四季がいい所です。
特に三・四月はとても涼しく、いい天気でございます。

Randsel Satchel Back Pack is normally used by school kids in Japan. The elementary school is starting from April. You will see kids with "Randsel" on the back in the morning and the afternoon.
They may bring text books, dictionary, lunch box, drink, music instrument.
Randsel or Dutch "Ransel" was imported from the Netherlands 150 years ago by Japanese army for troops.
It is robust and long lasting made by leather and designed to use for 6 years of elementary school. Recently it is developed to be light using artificial leather.
It is made by hands using more than 100 pieces with lot of process as cut, press, starch, perforate, sew, swage and stitch.
The size also is changing to fit the clear files for A4 size paper in stead of B5.
Black is for boys and red is for girls. However you may find other various colors such as pink, brown, blue, green and more. Gold also available.

Graduation ceremony of school is very typical in Japan and it is to certify and to celebrate the end of education of each school for the students.
The modern Japanese school system was started in 1872 almost 150 years ago when the Meiji government had decided to educate kids as European states and to level up the power of the country.
School year starts from April and ends in March in Japan same as the fiscal year.

Graduation ceremony at Japanese school in Singapore.
Procedure of graduation ceremony starts from the performance of blass band to welcome graduates followed by singing of the national anthem.
Then, after several greetings by VIPs, graduates receive certificate from the school master.
One of enrolling students reads valedictory message to graduate students then one graduate reply to them.
Graduates leave school singing a song of farewell "Auld Lang Syne".
It is very emotional for all, you may try to join the ceremony with permission.

Last saturday it has been taken place of Girls’ Festival or Hinamatsuri in all over Japan.
Dolls displayed at Minami Sanriku Hotel KANYO.
It is a Japanese tradition to pray healthy growth of girls, by decorationg dolls with flowers of peach and donating tiny rice balls and rhombus-shaped colourful rice cakes.

It is 3rd March every year. Origin of Himamatsuri may derive from Kyoto of about 1,000 years ago, but it is spread to all of Japan in Edo period 400 years ago.
In Tohoku it is a little bit different from other area of Japan. We hang dolls from the ceiling. This is “Kazaribina” or hanging dolls of Senmaya district of Ichinoseki City in Iwate.
They donate and decolate also Sake which is important for Senmaya area.
Only 1 hour drive to Semmaya from Shizugawa to experience authentic Japanese festival.

台灣寒假實習生快樂回憶篇。
台湾インターシップ生の楽しい思い出♪
気仙沼 岩井崎散步。
当館から車で約1時間！気仙沼にある岩井崎でお散歩を楽しみました。
三陆复兴国立公园位于気仙沼南端，被松树所环绕形成的美丽海岸（丘），海岸（丘）的最先端，被海水常年侵蚀而形成了巨大岩孔，每当潮长的时候，海水拍打岩石，巨大的水花从岩孔喷出，场面十分壮观，因此得名「潮吹岩」。東日本大地震后，有一棵形似飞龙的松树成为了焦点，因海啸冲走了树叶，只剩下了弯曲很大的主干，枝丫看起来就像龙角，龙足一样，所以被称为「龍之松」。
気仙沼市【岩井崎】 は、気仙沼湾の西南端の岬です。
三陸復興国立公園の最南端に位置する松林に囲まれた美しい岬です。
岬の先端には、海蝕洞の岩孔に波が打ち寄せるたびに潮を吹き上げる
潮吹岩（しおふきいわ）があります。
また、津波の被害にも負けずに残った
「第９代横綱 秀ノ山雷五郎」の銅像や
津波によって幹や枝などが被害を受けたものの、
一部が奇跡的に龍の形に残った「龍の松」などがあります。
大家返回台灣的前一天晚上,和東京創價大學學生一起在南三陸觀洋
溫泉飯店舉行了送別會,大家依依不捨,相互告別,場面很是感動。
インターンシップ生の皆さんは台湾に戻る前の夜、
創価大学の学生と一緒に送別会を行いました。
皆さんは名残を惜しみ、別れを告げる姿に、私はとても感動しました。

轉眼間,台灣學生為期一個月的實習期結束了,昨天我們去了岩手縣的中尊寺,同一個東北地區,岩手的雪好大,同學們也是第一次看見這麼大的雪,很是興奮.
1ヶ月は早いですね～
1月16日に台湾から来ているインターシップ生も今日で帰ります。
昨日は岩手県の中尊寺にいってきました♪
同じ東北地方ですが、こちらは雪が大変多いですね～
学生さん達は大喜び！
在這裡,簡單的介紹下中尊寺.
世界文化遗产一座将中尊寺创建的样貌传承至今的建筑物，
内藏中尊寺经，4根卷柱，须弥坛（佛坛）乃至长押（柱间横木）上，
都装饰有亮白色的夜光贝工艺，镂空的 金属件以及漆制泥金画，
汇聚了平安时代后期的工艺技术，庄严而美丽，令人感觉整座佛堂宛如一件工艺品。
2011年，作为国宝建筑物，庭院等考古学遗迹的代表，被列入世界自然文化遗产名录。

松尾芭蕉が「五月雨の降り残してや光堂」と詠んだ中尊寺金色堂。
内部の長押、柱、須弥壇には金蒔絵、極彩色が施され、
要所は宝相華文を透し彫りにした金具で装飾されています。
2011年には、「平泉―仏国土（浄土）を表す建築・庭園及び考古学的遺跡群―」の
構成資産の一つとして世界遺産に登録されました。
從岩手縣的返程中,
会長在気仙沼プラザ溫泉酒店為大家舉行了小小送別會,
副支配人昆野先生代理副社長出席了這次宴會,和大家一起卡拉OK
也將宴會推向了高潮.
岩手からの戻って来る途中、
会長から皆さんの送別会を開いてくれました。
当館副支配人が副社長の代理を務め、
カラオケまで歌い、本当に楽しかったです。
這一個月的學習期,大家學到很多日本歷史和文化,
真的感謝大家,辛苦了,有時間歡迎再來日本,再來南三陸觀洋.
1ヶ月間、南三陸でホテルの仕事と日本の文化をたくさん勉強しました。
