古くから山岳信仰の霊山として人々の信仰を集めてきた田束山。
町内屈指のビュースポットの1つとして太平洋を一望でき、５月下旬から６月上旬には、咲き誇る５万本のツツジで全山が燃えるような朱色に染まります。
山頂にある11基の経塚は、かの奥州藤原氏との深いゆかりを今日に伝える貴重な遺構です。
山頂までま車で行くことが可能で、頂上付近には50台以上の駐車スペースがございます。

What is Mt. Tatsuganesan?
Tatsuganesan is one of the sacred mountains for long time.
One of the best view spots of Minami Sanriku over the Pacific Ocean. It will be covered by 50,000 rots of red azalea whole the mountain.
11 sutra mounds on the vertice are relic related to the powerful Oshu Fujiwara families. There are parking spaces for 50 cars on the vertice.

【　神割崎の日の出って？】
石巻市と南三陸町の境にある美しい景勝地です。
昔、村境を争っていた海岸に巨大な鯨が打ち上げられ、その所有権を争っていたところ、地響きと共に岬は二つに割れ、これを神様が下した裁きだろうと考え、争いが解決したとの伝説が残っています。
切り立つ崖に打ち寄せる波が荒々しくも美しい南三陸町の名所です。
毎年２月と１０月には岩の間から朝日が昇る瞬間が見られ、多くの方が一目見ようと訪れます。

What is the sunrise at Kamiwarizaki Cape?
It is located at the border between Ishinomaki and Minami Sanriku.
Long time ago, there was a conflict between the bordering two villages for a giant whale washed ashore. However, the cape suddenly has been separated in two parts with rumbling of the earth. This is the legend of area thanks to the God who mediated to end the conflict. Wild waves create beautiful scenery of Minami Sanriku. You can observe sunrise between the rocks twice a year in February and October.

三陸自動車道から当館最寄の、桃生（ものう）津山Ｉ．Ｃからはホテルまで約２０分で到着します。
また、青森等北東北からお越しになる場合の東北自動車道の最寄は一関Ｉ．Ｃです。
一関Ｉ．Ｃからは気仙沼（国道２８４号線）経由ですと約２時間。
一関花泉経由（国道３４２号線～国道３９８号線）経由ですと約１時間半で到着致します。

By JR Bus : 25 minutes on foot from Rikuzen Togura station. (You may book free hotel car transportation from the station)
Directions from Tohoku Mortor Way may differ;
If you comes from Fukushima or Tokyo, exit at Sendai Minami, then continue Sendai Nambu Road/Sendai Tobu Road and Sanriku Motor Way.
The nearest exit of Sanriku Motor Way is Monou Tsuyama where is 20 minutes drive to the hotel.
If you come from Morioka or Aomori, the nearest exit of Tohoku Motor Way is Ichinoseki.
From Ichinoseki, 2 hours drive by route no.284 via Kesennuma, or 1.5 hours by routes 342&398 via Ichinoseki-Hanaizumi.
The hotel is located on the route no.45, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have lost the way.
