田園、収穫の時期
米という食べ物は日本人にとって長い間最も大切な食べ物で、
これは「おにぎり」と言って手のひらサイズの球状のご飯で、そのまま食べれます。
日本では「米」と言ったり、「飯」と言ったり、「ご飯」と言ったり、その時々の場面で言い方を変えます。
日本の米の年間生産量は約1000万トンで、世界で11番目に多いようです。
米の生産は春に始まり、秋に収穫するのが一般的で、そろそろ収穫の時期になります。
