The Perseids Meteor Shower in Minami Sanriku

As I mentioned last time in May, the sky is very clear in Minami Sanriku, we can watch many stars by naked eyes.

This time I didn't need telescope, I needed only my eyes.
Just looked toward north-east, near Cassiopea.
I have studied there is Perseus constellation. (Ref.Wikipedia)

It was clear, very clear last week, I could see beautiful Milky Way thanks to the typhoon No.5 which has clean the sky of Japan.

Suddenly one big comet or flash light has gone.

One more.

It was very fast, of course faster than Shinkansen.

Just only one second or less.

This is Perseids Meteor Shower. (Ref. Astronomy)

ペルセウス座流星群 in 南三陸
5月にも書きましたが、南三陸の空はとても澄んでいて、裸眼でも多くの星を見ることができます。
今回は望遠鏡はいりません。肉眼で大丈夫でした。
北東方向、カシオペア座の近くです。
ペルセウス座という星座があると勉強しました。（ウィキペディアより）
先週は台風5号のお蔭で日本の空はキレイになり、美しい天の川を見ることができました。
突然大きな流れ星が、フラッシュライトが光りました。
もう一つ。
とても速い、もちろん新幹線よりも。
1秒かそれ以下でした。
